Termly Community Café was hosted by the Towie Primary Pupil Group - ECO Committee and served Nursery Parents and Pupils for their first event on October 10th
Harvest Festival and Opening of the Sharing Station
Opening of the sharing station at Towie Primary to support the community.
Pupils through the school are preparing to take part as a whole school and as individuals in the Hamewith Concert this year at the Alford Heritage Museum. The pupils are learning poems and a song to perform as a class group. P4-7 Pupils will be reciting A Dug. Primary 2-4 pupils will be performing Ye Cannae Shove Your Grannie Af a Bus and Ally Bally. A number of pupils will be performing individually as well!
Fair trade fortnight will take place from, September 22-October 5th 2025. Our Rights Respecting Pupil group will be organising school events as well as the teachers planning learning with support from Action for a Fairer World.
Sept 17-19th in Nursery and Sept 17th for the Primary 5-7 class.
Hosted by Pupil Council Pupils the Big Breakfast raised awareness of food poverty in Scotland! Wednesday Sept 17th. from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. We were generously supported by a Food donation by the COOP in Aboyne a well as support from ur school cook and catering assistant!
We wanted to create space and time to connect with one another to catch up with other families, chat with the Parent Council Chair, Katie Insch and the Head Teacher, Cheryl Sharp-Sturrock. We had a great dicussion about what makes Towie special and what we an do to make it an even better place to go to school!
Pupils in P1-7 performed their compositions, played their soundscapes made using GarageBand and read poems inspired by Nature on Tuesday May 6th at 2:45.
